BRIDALS & NUPTIALS

Wedding photography has long been built around spectacle. The perfect centerpiece. The carefully folded napkins. The timeline. The venue. The performance of “the big day.” And while those details absolutely deserve to be remembered, they have never been the part that mattered most to me.

What I’m interested in is the way your hands search for each other when no one is looking. The nervous laughter before vows. The inhale before the ceremony doors open. The mascara-smudged tears, champagne-drunk dancing, wrinkled suits, tangled hair, and the feeling of realizing in real time that your life is changing for the better forever.

Bridals, nuptials, and wedding celebrations are not just events to me. They are living, breathing emotional landscapes. They are layered with history, intimacy, grief, joy, anticipation, family dynamics, tenderness, chaos, and devotion. I approach weddings less like a production and more like a documentarian of human connection.

Of course, we’ll capture the beauty of the details, the atmosphere, the florals, the carefully chosen textures and spaces you built together. But my focus will always return to the heartbeat underneath it all : love as it actually exists - imperfect, emotional, embodied, and deeply alive.

BESTIES & BACHELOR(ETTE) + REHEARSALS & ELOPEMENTS + BRIDALS & NUPTIALS

Typical wedding and event photography coverage often includes a combination of documentary-style moments, traditional portraits, and detail-oriented imagery throughout the day. Most galleries are built around a timeline that tells the full story of the event from beginning to end.

Commonly captured moments include :

  • Getting ready photos + Dress, suit, shoes, jewelry, invitation suites, and detail styling

  • Bridal portraits + Hair and makeup application

  • Bridesmaids and groomsmen portraits + Wedding party group portraits

  • Parent and family interactions before the ceremony + Family formal portraits

  • First looks (with partner, parents, bridal party, etc.) + First kiss

  • Ceremony venue and décor details

  • Guest arrivals and mingling

  • Walking down the aisle + Vows and ring exchange

  • Recessional / walking back down the aisle + Couple portraits after the ceremony

  • Cocktail hour candids + Reception décor and tablescape details

  • Grand entrances + First dance

  • Parent dances + Toasts and speeches

  • Cake cutting + Bouquet or garter toss

  • Open dancing and party candids + Live music, DJs, performances, or entertainment

  • Anniversary dances or cultural traditions

  • Guest interactions and emotional reactions

  • Night portraits or private last dances + Grand exits (sparklers, confetti, vintage cars, etc.)

WEDDING DAY STAPLES : THE MOMENTS YOU'VE COME TO EXPECT IN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Alongside the big moments, I pay close attention to the quiet ones. The in-between moments. The things you didn’t even realize were happening until years later when a photograph suddenly brings it all rushing back.

You can expect me to catch the little intricacies and document things like :

  • The shaky hands while getting dressed + Your mom or best friend fixing a veil with teary eyes

  • The silence right before the ceremony begins + The look on your partner’s face before they realize they’re crying

  • Nervous pacing, deep breaths, and laughter that breaks tension + The way your hands instinctively reach for each other

  • Guests holding each other during vows + Parents trying not to cry and failing beautifully

  • Wind catching fabric at exactly the right moment + The just-married adrenaline immediately after the ceremony

  • Champagne popping, lipstick smudging, ties loosening + Tiny glances across crowded rooms

  • Grandparents dancing slowly in the corner + Friends screaming lyrics together at the reception

  • The chaos, tenderness, and blur of celebration + The moments where you forget the camera exists entirely

  • The soft exhaustion at the end of the night when it finally settles in that this is real + The feeling of your wedding rather than just the appearance of it

I’ll absolutely photograph the details, décor, portraits, and traditional moments you’ve spent months planning. But my real goal is preserving emotional texture of the atmosphere, the energy, movement, and intimacy that made your wedding feel like yours and no one else’s.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME : THE QUIET, THE CHAOS, & THE IN-BETWEEN - HONEST STORYTELLING WITH A HUMAN HEARTBEAT.

& then there’s sound translated into stillness. The moment a band hears their newest release for the first time, not through speakers, but through each other. That electric pause before the chorus hits. The grin that breaks across someone’s face when it hits. Fingers tapping instinctively, heads tilting, someone saying “oh shit” under their breath. It’s the quiet disbelief, the pride, the vulnerability of being witnessed in something you created from nothing.
