PAPER TRAILS
There’s something weirdly wild + oddly delightful about Creations from The Crypt's market days. Maybe it’s the smell of incense, sage, & candles hanging in the air with well wishing offerings and sweet spells of abundance. Maybe it’s the sound of people laughing over spooky little trinkets and taxidermy raccoons, fae-wing earrings and skeleton bones screen-printed on custom tees and totes. Maybe it’s the fact that markets like this still feel human in a world that’s trying very hard to turn everyone into a barcode with WiFi access. Whatever it is, I really love free-range roaming these events with a camera in hand and documenting the strange cinematic little moments happening between the booths.
The human side of artisan fairs has always fascinated me. The artists talking excitedly about something they hand crafted at 2:00 AM while covered in paint or glitter. Someone in platform boots showing their friend a cute bone necklace like they just discovered buried treasure. Couples holding hands while carrying candles and art prints home like tiny sacred offerings to their apartment crypt. Kids getting excited over spooky decor with too many wings, too many eyes, and maybe even a tail or two. Friends taking blurry mirror selfies together because they accidentally dressed like members of the same coven. That’s the stuff I want to see when I scroll endlessly. What about you?
SOME PEOPLE COLLECT ANTIQUES; OTHERS COLLECT ENERGIES.

COME FOR THE ODDITIES. STAY BECAUSE SOMETHING IN THIS SPACE FEELS FAMILIAR AND ENCHANTING.
I bring a unique + interactive photo booth setup to each event because honestly? Markets should be experienced, not just shopped. People can stop for a professional portrait, take chaotic little selfies with friends, or document their yearly cryptid family reunion for the timeline. Every booth changes to match the theme of the event, which means every gallery ends up feeling like its own strange little time capsule : a collection of oddities, good vibes, feral joy, and proof that people are still out here making beautiful things with their hands instead of feeding their souls directly into the algorithm. We are just stardust and ritual, after-all . . .

Every market date listed below leads to its own dedicated gallery archive documenting that particular day's event : the vendors + their weird little treasures, the fantastically dressed attendees, hugs shared in passing between old and new friends, people striking poses with their new favorite altar piece like they just found a cursed artifact at an estate sale, & all the tiny intricacies carrying that strange little spark of magick these markets always seem to hold. To explore a gallery, simply click on the circular photo that matches the market date you'd like to creep through.

The photos displayed inside each gallery are intentionally lower resolution web-sized previews so you can peruse them without your device spiritually leaving its body by means of a critically low internet connection. If you’d like the full-resolution versions for posting, printing, sharing, or keeping as proof that you once looked incredibly hot holding ethically sourced bones under string lights, just click the “DOWNLOAD GALLERY” button inside that event’s page. The button will take you to a Google Drive folder containing the high-resolution files, and anyone with the link should have access to download the images directly.
MORE TO COME!
Attending the next market? Keep an eye out for the QR code displayed around the event and at the photo booth setup. A quick little scan with your phone will lead you directly back here so you can creep through future galleries, download your photos, relive your batty behavior, & prove to your friends that yes, you really did buy a haunted-looking wall hanging made from goat fur from a man dressed like a Victorian undertaker. Stay tuned for more bizarre relics, perplexing stories of mystery, haunted homemade crafts, adorable stuffed animals with more than one eye, devious little dangle earrings, out of the ordinary chance encounters and fate-met moments, ghoulish vibes, spooky music + eccentric entertainment, nostalgic nonsense, & all the weird and wonderful of future market madness!
