Yesterday was Sunday and the only day of the year that gives us direct instructions : March Forth. You can and you will be, because you are badass like that. Keep your head held high, your soul grounded, & be kind - it’s the most gangster gesture of all time. & in case you need a little reminder, the universe cannot play a bigger hand until you do. These are the ides of March.

There is always going to be another storm to stand in between you and your destination - where ever and whoever it is you want to be. There’s always going to be another tree to climb or fence to hop, hill to run up and try not to fall down. Though the obstacles are endless, when you break free and allow them, storms can hold so much healing and power. Allow the rain to wash you clean of your fears and anxieties this week. Allow the sun to dry your tears and bring you warmth. Happy Tuesday, Loves.

Here’s to Willie Nelson, Whataburger, pickle salt, Big Bend, Selena, Texas-shaped cutting boards and foods, high school football, all your ex’s, and Austin City Limits! Here’s to George Strait, miles of open stary-skies, pecan pie, Fiesta, Barton Springs, and The Alamo! Here’s to fried everything, Wurstfest, the sage in bloom, Fiesta, and H-E-B! Here’s to Big Tex, driving 8 hours to be in the same state, Rio Frio, the Astrodome, Buc-ee’s, and the rolling hills of the hill country! Happy One Hundred Eighty-Four, Texas! May her flag always remind you of the one you love.

If you had one wish for women in today’s world or of the future, what would it be? I wish that we were taken more seriously : in business, in science, in knowledge & experience, and faced with our own mental and physical health. It’s hard to be your own advocate when you feel like your voice will never be heard. Happy #iwd2020!
